Renew a deer authorisation
Renewals are available for:
- out of season and night shooting only
- current authorisations due to expire in less than three months
- previous authorisations that expired less than three years ago
For authorisations which expired over three years ago, or to control female deer, you must apply for a new authorisation.
Before you begin
To renew your authorisation, you'll need:
- the associated email address
- details of any new fit and competent controllers
- details of any new properties
- details of any new control areas

It is quicker and easier to renew online.
However, if you prefer to renew by email or post, you can download a PDF version of this form.
To complete an offline form:
- download the PDF and either save it or print it (don't use your internet browser)
- fill out the form and sign it
- send the form by email or post (see document for address)
